Enforcing the ADA
Enforcing the ADAThe Department of Justice has released a report on how the ADA is being enforced. There are three areas that are described in the document which are Title 1 (Employment practices), Title 2 (Programs and services) and Title 3 (Public accommodations). Each area has a synopsis of cases that have been prosecuted by the DoJ by using the ADA. This is essential reading for the disability community because these cases show what rights we have and can enforce. It is crazy that we have to fight for our rights but eh disabled community is back in the 1960’s and there are plenty of prejudice out there. Rather then letting these bozos get away with their discrimination filth, know the law and talk to a lawyer. The status report is attached to this blog in PDF format.
