About Us

Who we are

The CEO is a tetraplegic that was the victim in a hit-and-run accident. After only three months after his accident he tried to go back to work at his employer but was informed that his job had been given to someone else. The company felt that sending someone in a wheelchair to a customer sent the "wrong idea of who they were" to the customer’s management staff. After a second company also decided they did not want to adjust the main building for wheelchair access because of the expense and work, we decided to take a different route. Upon leaving the hospital we found that the training was nowhere near was what required to safely live a useful life. To that end we created Spinal Cord Resources Network to get information and news to the disabled community and their caregivers.

We are making our mark in the worldwide community when we are recognized at trade shows for what we bring to the table. However, even in cyberspace we have run into social sites that refuse to show our stories or blogs because of who represent. So we are also ambassadors to the able bodied community, showing that we can do almost everything they can do. Join us by commenting on our stories, adding to our poll so others can learn from your problems and concerns.
